I've only used the bathtub in my apartment three times since moving into my place three years ago. Not only is it cramped & totally ordinary, but every time I've tried, it floods my downstairs neighbor's bathroom. We've had people out to fix it several times, but I'm too afraid to even try it again - don't wanna be a jerk to the folks downstairs. And the whole point of bathtime is to be stress-free, right?
Anyway, no baths for me right now, but here are a few I'd love to spend several hours in. They fall into two primary categories.
Style #1: Clean, minimal, zen
These are the kind of tubs I want to meditate in. Picture Enya playing in the background (yes, I'm serious), slight breezes coming in an open window, bath products that smell like eucaplyptus. No extra ornamentation, no mental clutter.
Style #2: Overflowing with lush-ness
This group of tubs is the TREAT YO SELF team. All about luxuriating and relaxing, less about finding inner calm, more about finding inner queen. In these rooms, the bath products all smell like gardenia and coconut and sandalwood.
