This week I pulled two pairs of jeans out of my drawer that I haven't worn in a minute, and became obsessed with them all over again. Both pairs are Citizens of Humanity, and were random impulse buys that I found on sale. I never imagined I'd love them so much. The first is the Fleetwood flare in Ozone wash, pictured above. These jeans legitimately feel like pajamas, and yet they are insanely flattering thanks to what they call Sculpt technology. They stretch to my shape, but somehow never stretch out. I haven't worn these much because I always struggle with what shoes to wear with a flare, but my Zara heels are the perfect height (and look sort of like white retro booties peeking out).
These jeans are called the Liya High Rise Classic, which is available in a bunch of different washes & fabrics - I went for the torn, vintage feeling one. I can go from day to night in them just by changing the shoe: they're equally cool with flats, heels, or sneakers. My only gripe with them is the button fly closure, which often bunches up and looks bulky. Other than that, they're one of my favorite pairs of jeans and have probably been on this blog more than any other pair I own. (Evidence.)
